We have had a problem with our dishwasher since "winterizing" it to close the cottage for the winter. We were told to run it for a few minutes with antifreeze in it and then turn off and let it overwinter with the antifreeze in it. Now the machine leaves everything coated with a white film, even though we have a water softener and use jetdry. How can we fix this and is this the proper way to winterize our dishwasher if we close down our cottage and turn off the heat for the winter?
