I recently purchased a pacer. After back-washing the filter I have found that the pacer will work for about 8 hours and then stop. I have now noticed that the nut between the "wagon wheel" and the lower unit does not screw in all the way - about 25mm of its thread remains visible. I cannot get it to screw in all the way and am reluctant to force it since it is a new unit. Could this be the cause of the problem?
