I just received a Verbatim USB 2.0 Desktop Hard Drive in December and we recently had a power outage whilst I was using it, now it does not power on at all. I have tried disconnecting, reconnecting, and even other outlets..no go. The green light does not even come on. I have many files on it I would like to recover but at this point, I really don't think it is possible. I do not have a receipt for the hard drive as I had gotten it as a gift. However, it is in immaculate condition as I have only had it 1 month and have evrything (including box) it came with. I understand it has a 5 year warranty and wondered if I could get a replacement? Thank you for your time
