My ceiling fan was a "discard" and I'm recycling it to an older house. There is no IR remote and I removed the module. The power to the fan has a 9-pin block connecting the power to the fan. The power comes in as white, black, and blue. The block passes those 3 wires through and there's a white, blue, blue to unused lighting fixture, a gray and a brown that would go into the motor. Grey used to run into the remote control. What should I connect (black to ?)so that the wall switch (black-black) will complete the circuit. I've verified that I have 120v coming out at the fan. I've tried all possible combinations. Is there another check to make to see if the motor is still operable? Thanks. Paul Biwer, Denver
