2" to increase the volume With the rocker switch set to Spa and the water valves set to Spa in and out the water heater heats the water up to around 84 degrees. It then turns off (power light is the only light on) for about 15 seconds and then it comes back on for about 45-50 seconds. Set the rocker switch to Pool so it would test the other thermostat and I had the same results When the cycling was taking place I rotated the water valve to pull cold water from the pool and pump it into the spa. The heater stopped cycling and the cold water begun to heat. With all this it appears to me to be a bad High Limit Thermal Switch. For testing can I bypass the two High limit switches by jumpering the two red wires together
