I have an older 29LTD Classic (6 knobs + Channel selector) that I am getting ready to put into my older 99 Wrangler. Being up here in the boonies of Maine, I am extremely concerned about reliability and ease of installation. My antenna is a ball-mount on the rear with a standard co-ax cable ready to go. But my biggest concern is the installation. Given the roads up here (think ARTILLERY IMPACT RANGE !!!) and the bouncing around the cab takes, what would the best location be for installation ? And what type of power cord harness would be best suited ? I already have an aux. speaker (given the roads and the weather) set to go. Thanks
