I seem to be experiencing an electronic sensor problem with my Impressa S-9 one touch unit. Last October I returned my unit because of the same difficulty, a replacement (not new) arrived in November last year. Now, 6mos. later and the problem has returned. There is a "male, female" sensor interlock, the male portion located on the back of the removable tray and the female portion located in the frame of the unit. If I play with it, I can get the interlock to work for a short period of time and then it reverts to it's message to either "empty tray" (which is already empty) or indicates that the tray is missing. It is a nanosecond trip over from one message to the other, with the "coffee ready" being between the two messages. I live in Belize in a VERY high humidity situation and it costs a dear price to send the unit back to the states for repair. Looking for suggestions!
