I have just bought an Energizer Accu recharge Universal charger and put in four AA Panasonic Infinium rechargeable batteries to recharge. The instruction leaflet reads that if the battery symbols in the LCD window flash, it indicates that the battery(ies) is bad or primary ! The symbol flashed and continued to do so, so I switched the charger off. Should this happen or perhaps more to the point what should happen when the charger is switched on ? Have I got a duff charger ?
