2 year old HP desktop that has 1TB hard drive and 8GB of RAM and Windows 7 op system. I have had no problems with this computer since I have had it and it played everything that the Internet put forth till 4 days ago. I was informed that Adobe Flash Player needed to install a updated version so I installed it. All hell broke loose from that point. After that point I lost IE 10 that was installed (auto install setting) and would not let me on line (blank white page stating that web site wouldn't answer try later). I happened to have Fire Fox installed as a backup for Browser problems. I tried Fire Fox to get on line and it had no problems.... I removed the newly installed Flash Player and reinstalled it through the Adobe site. No luck for the IE10.... Removed Flash Player again and checked for IE10 operation. Went right on line with no problems, but most videos on any web site won't play and all You Tube videos won't play at all and takes for ever to load by buffering you to death. So first thought was a "Virus"..... I have Norton 360 installed and Earthlink PC Fine Tune. I ran a complete deep scan with both and they both were clean. I ran a tuneup for the operating systems using both programs and came up with some problems (they are set to scan monthly) and "fixed" the problems, both show 100% problem free. Still have the problems with the You Tube videos. Check the control panel for Adobe Flash Player and find that I have two installed. A Player 11 Active X and a Player 11 Plug-In... Found out through numerous removal an installs that the "Active X" is installed with Fire Fox Browser and the "Plug-In" is installed with IE 10 Browser. Started "Google'ing and Bing'ing the internet to find out if more people has this problem and yes they do... But it seems that no one has a "correct fix" for it. Keep reading that Flash Player 11 has a problem with Windows 7 that has IE10 installed, but I also have problems with Fire Fox after it corrected the problem for several hours then it started doing the same thing that IE10 does. So I down loaded the "Chrome Browser" (which I hate) and lookout everything works fine. I have had it installed for the last several days and it has worked with the You Tube videos, but now I have noticed that it also has begin to slow down on loading. Once loaded they will play through with out buffering you to death. I have begin to think that I need to replace the computer, but that is hard to swallow when I have 838GB free out of a 920GB hard drive. I don't use the computer to play games and don't "surf" the Internet and usually go to certain web sites (no porn) that I constantly go to. I hardly ever go to "You Tube" except when the news articles that I read display the videos. But most articles use "You Tube" (about 80% to 90%) of all videos. I have even thought about "wiping" the system and reinstall to factory settings, but damn that is a lot of work, but it beats paying another 800 dollars for a new computer which is hard for someone on a fixed income and very close to 70. But I can still watch Glenn Beck because the Blaze uses "NexDef" instead of Flash Player. If anyone can help with this problem then I tank you in advance. Roy D. Humphries Sr
