Trying to fix my Bissell model 6595. I took it apart, and the rubber ring that sits a top the motor seems to be causing the problem. It is preventing the motor from spinning. Is this ring supposed to be on top of the motor, or inside the plastic housing to prevent rubbing? I really don't know what I am doing, but am trying hard to fix it; can't afford to buy a new one. Thank you
