dept. to set the time prior to shipping), so it's been very easy for me to just pull the crown out from the underside of the case with my fingernail (each time, the date was a day off). Once I'd adjusted the date, I tried, both firmly and softly, to push the crown towards the case, and then rotate it clockwise, all to no avail. The tension in the crown never increases, and it just continues to rotate loosely in each case. The first watch at least seemed to have a gentle clicking sound that it made when I tried pushing the crown towards the case. This second one doesn't even make that noise, so if there's supposed to be an actual spring in the case, it certainly doesn't seem to me to be there. I'm weary of receiving nice-looking watches that I'm not comfortable wearing for fear that the crown is not properly engaged, and run the risk of getting it damaged by water and voiding out the warranty. The watch is an Invicta Women's 2963 Pro Diver Collection Lady Abyss Watch. Thanks for any assistance anyone can offer!
