In northern canada where im working we froze the 12v battery we were using for our hydrualic dump trailer dumping snow... it fried the tiny wires going from the battery into the wiring harness...we were informed by the manufactur of the trailer we do not need those wires so we cut them off and taped them up so they would not connect to each other and causes a further problem... we run a positive feed from our truck battery into our trailer battery to prevent charging at night... we checked those connections to make sure power is going through them and they were working fine... we replaced the battery with a brand new one and only got a half hour us out of it... could any other damage of happened when we ran the cold battery enough that it fried the wires i had mentioned earlier... could it of also damaged our solenoid or something further? if so what are some other possibilities that i could look at?
