How do you adjust the timing when it gets off? I have a Brother PS 1250. I was sewing and the needle broke. I changed it out with the same needle and it stopped sewing. I've dusted everything out 3 or four times with a small brush. I have taken the plate off and can see that sometimes the needle is going down but not picking up the thread. And the top thread is not going around the bobbin carriage thing. I checked to make sure the needle is in correctly and there is only one way to put it in. I even lowered it and raised it a bit. I'm not sure what else to do
