shower faucet, I am finishing the wall with ceramic tile and have set plumbing so plastic guard face will be flush with finished tile. One drawing in the instructions shows tile covering the space where the plastic guard should be (step 7,7A in installation guide # F1216503). All other step drawings show the plastic guard left in place but make no reference to tile. 1) do I need to leave plastic guard in place? 2) If yes then I need to cut tile around the plastic guard in place 3) if not required, can I have tile cover some of the area where the plastic guard would have been
