Wont start Brand new Homelite 26ss. 3rd time use. Worked fine 2 weeks ago. Good spark plug, fuel lines look intact proper gas to oil ratio.I follow the directions for start up and it still won't start. Is the primer bubble supposed to fill with gas when primed, because it's not. Other than that I don't know what else it could be. Thank You. Kerry from Louisiana
Maybe,(as with my 1999 25cc) the fuel lines are leaking air at the tank, or the joiner of the fuel lines are cracked, if it is a new one, I would take it back and get one out of the box.
If all those things are good than usually it comes down to user error, the bulb does not necessarily need to be full, you will see a little fuel when you prime. Try just pulling a not priming a couple of times, if that does not give results then let it sit for while pull the cord a couple more times if still Nada prime three times then pull again. If this thing is brand new like you stated and still not able to start just take it back and exchange for new one maybe you picked a lemon, not your fault get new one! Good Luck
