Wrrrrring Sound My 2001 Dakota (4wd) had gradually developed a wrrring sound in the front end. It reminds me of the sound that huge mudder tires make when put on a vehicle, but seems to be in the front and possible the left front end. It builds in intensity as speed is increased and vice-versa. I have noticed, however, that if you make a right turn it stops, but comes back as you straighten the wheels again. No change is observed with a left turn is made. I cannot see any obvious problem with the tire itself or any of the mechanical stuff underneath. Any ideas?

What all tool well you need to replace if is wheel bearing
if it was the bearing .
what tools would I need to use to fix the problem
Switch tires around and see if sound moves. If it changes wheels, its a tire more than likely, but if it remains at same wheel, I'd say wheel bearing.
