Wrrrrring Sound My 2001 Dakota (4wd) had gradually developed a wrrring sound in the front end. It reminds me of the sound that huge mudder tires make when put on a vehicle, but seems to be in the front and possible the left front end. It builds in intensity as speed is increased and vice-versa. I have noticed, however, that if you make a right turn it stops, but comes back as you straighten the wheels again. No change is observed with a left turn is made. I cannot see any obvious problem with the tire itself or any of the mechanical stuff underneath. Any ideas?
