dimmer button. The battery in the remote has been changed so that should not be the problem. Joe Sato

The ceiling fan (3 speed) i our great room MIA-F539-BCW $399.91 Belcaro Walnut will only work on high. It is operated from a remote. We thought it was the remote and had it replaced. Same problem. Did the eletrician do something wrong when installing it? Since it is about 20 feet up - it is not so easy to check. Someone thought it might be a bad chip or something not installed correctly
