I have a Casa Deville ceiling fan with remote and candleabra light kit. All installed (left canopy open until I could ensure fan worked and was on HI and lights ON as directions specified). Now I have 2 issues: 1. Canopy cover doesn't seem to fit-I am struggling to get it flush with the ceiling (this was a preinstalled mounting with a slot for the reciever. 2. The remote didn't communicate with the fan once I turned power on and heard the series of beeps (I missed the opportunity to link the two). The directions say to start over but I have cut the power from the fuse box and tried again but still does not communicate
