My Belkin G router ver.8002uk is running successfully on my Vista System Computer. When I used the Belkin set up disc it recommended a change of router name from the default. This I did. However, when I start up and connect to the Belkin, the default name is displayed on my desktop, not the name I changed it to. Reason?

I have this adapter and just hooked it up to a machine that is running windows XP Home edition. I have disabled the microsoft firewall and started the wireless service because it told me to do so. However I am having issues with the wireless network connection - it was enabled but said there was limited connectivity - so I chose repair and when it disabled it, it was unable to re enable it. Now I can't get this enabled again. It keeps saying 'connection failed'. Any ideas. I keep uninstalling and reinstalling the driver yet it isn't showing up in the device manager under network adapters. The prior owner used this with a hard wire and it worked - any suggestions?
