I received the Patton Electric Heater model number PUH682 for a Christmas gift. It worked fine for about one week then just about 3 days ago, when I went to unplug it, the plug and cord were just red hot!! It had also at the same time, started acting funny. It would try to start up, then go off, then come back on. This thing needs to be recalled!!!! I'm taking mine back! My friend purchased this at Walmart. My entire model number is PUH682-WM1 (I found the WM1 part somewhere on it)
