My friend has a laptop and I just found this wireless adapter as his laptop did not come wireless. I plugged it in but I would have thought it would recognize that there was something in the USB port but nothing came up and it looks like a light should come on. on the adapter? Maybe it's broken. USB option on my Wireless-G router is not working. The wireless portion of the router is operating well. The LED for the USB comes on when I boot the router, but then goes out. I just bought a WUSB54GC v3 adapter and went through the setup. Everything said it was successful and was able to connect to the network. When I opened an IE browser, it said page cannot be displayed. I know the network works because my laptop (which does not use the linksys adapter) can connect to the internet. I'm using windows XP. Help?

The connection speed is so slow. What can I do to speed it up (other than moving it closer to the router - that doesnt seem to help)? I am using another computer via wireless connection at the same distance from the router with no problems. Does it need some sort of reset or update? Thanks

HOW DO I get a wusb54gc linksys adapter to work in a imac os10.4.11 I have 2 i macs. One is a g5 Leopard attached to a linksys router.and connected to a provider via High speed ethernet The other one is a g4 Tiger that I want to share the High speed ethernet connection that lands on the other imac.
