FFB6187 I have a problem where the fridge temperature gets warmer. This is an ongoing problem where once defrosted it solves the problem, trouble is I now have to do this every 6-8 weeks. I remove the back panel in the freezer, use a hair dryer to remove the ice. The ice builds up on the silver radiator thingy (technical I know), around the fan and blocks the circulation vent into the fridge, hence the temperature increases in the fridge. I hear circulation from the compressor, the fan works, I am thinking the thermostat needs replacing....any thoughts

Hotpoint FFB6187 Every couple of months the fridge temperature increases, I looked on line originally and found out that there was an icing up problem which once defrosted allows the fridge to run cold again. I have now repeated this exercise several times by removing the back panel inside the freezer, using a hair dryer to defrost the freezer which unblocks the vent to allow cold air to circulate. This is now happening approx every 6 weeks and exactly the same problem, once you take off the back inside cover the silver radiator looking thing (yes I am technical) is covered in ice and ice is surrounding the circulation fan and all the electrics inside. I am assuming the thermostat is playing up please advise
