Memory Stick I have a 4GB memory stick. I have loaded a couple of documents from my PC. One from Microsoft Works Word Processor and the other from MS Works spreadsheet. I find that I cannot load these on to my laptop. The list of contents for the Memory Stick shows that my two documents have been loaded but when I try to transfer these to my 'Documents' folder I get the message 'Cannot find 'Document *******' Check the drive and directory. I reached this 'dead-end' after right clicking on the item in the memory stick contents page. Then I went to 'open in documents' Then I requested 'Copy and replace' and then nothing happened. I tried to open the older version of this document which should be on my laptop but I get the same message about checking the drive and directory. Can anyone help please ?? The Memory stick is an Attache PNY but I don't think there is a fault with this because I have two sticks and both give me the same problem

Flash Drive Thank you for your very useful comments. I am grateful. However my problem is not yet solved so I will seek you help again. My OS is XP Home on my PC and Vista Premium on my laptop. I have reloaded the documents on to the flash drive using the drag and drop mwthod described by you but it will still not be accepted by my laptop. I notice however that when I open the flash drive contents using 'My Computer' each of the three items I have loaded are described as 'shortcut' and only 5 or 600 bytes. When I drag and drop into 'My Documents' and then try to open the document I still get the messge 'file not found' I hope this gives you some more clues ! Thank you again for your help
